Step-By-Step Stuffing Instructions

Your animal stuffing kit comes with:
- 1 animal skin of your choice
- 1 pre-measured bag of stuffing neatly tied with instructions and a wishing star inside
- 1 birth certificate to record the birth of your new animal friend (not pictured)
The first thing you want to do is find the opening in the back of your animal.
Your animal will have either a one way zipper and a fabric flap OR a sleeve with a one way zipper and a Velcro closure. (If you have a sleeve with a one way zipper, pull the sleeve out so you can reach inside your animal.)

Open your bag of stuffing and pull out a "cotton candy pinch". (I like to fluff the cotton candy pinch of stuffing by pulling the curls apart.) Put your fluffed pinch in your animals back.
Starting with the arms, use your hands and fingers to work the stuffing into the end of the arms - poking gently with your fingers. Work your way back to the shoulder. Just stuff it gently so the animal will remain squishy. Once your are done with the arms, stuff the legs the same way.
Once done with the legs, continue stuffing the rest of the animal. Remember to hug and squeeze your animal every once in a while to make sure it is stuffed just the way you like it.
Once you have your animal stuffed just about right, take your star and hold it in your hands and make a wish and blow on the star (just like you blow out birthday candles). Next, take your star and put it in the body of the animal and cover it with a pinch of stuffing. (See animated picture to the left.)

Now zip the zipper opening closed and cut off the pull string. Cutting the string will make sure the one way zipper is activated.
If you have a fabric flap, then you are done. If you have a sleeve with a Velcro closure, tuck the sleeve inside your animal.
If you have a Velcro closure, you will need to remove the Velcro from the side of the opening and squeeze the two sides together. Once you have it closed, give your animal a little back scratch to blend the fur over the opening. (See animated picture to the right.)
